Is there a fuel filter inline servicing my Onan

My 25 ft. W&P has a fuel station that feeds the generator. Yesterday the gen stopped running. The fuel

pump stayed running starved for fuel. I tried using a short hose from a fuel can for the pump to draw from,

eliminating the long fuel line from the tank. no good. Removed fuel line at carb and fuel pump not bringing

up fuel. So...I ordered a pump and fuel filter . This morning I went out and the generator started up , ran 3

hours under load running air conditioner.

i will have a spare pump, NBD. This generator has 25 hrs on it. previous owner hardly used generator. 2015

unit. The symptoms point to a possible clogged filter , the filter just behind the pump is ok. Is there another

inline filter?

The only filter that I know of it the one on the pump. I had the same problem and it was the pump that was bad. Onan pumps are expensive and I went threw three of them in three years so I finally went to napa and bought a low pressure pump and a good filter. Its been working great for 4 plus years now.
