Just ordered !!!
Been shopping/deciding along time.... Finally decided on a work and play 40RLS. Put deposit down today and ordered. Solid white no graphics, onyx cabinets, 84" interior with most bells and whistles, except for the over priced items that I can add....Such as televisions and such.
Yeehaw !! Insanely excited...
Why does FR not make the 38RLS with 3 axles ? Seems silly to me. My 34ft bumper pull cargo trailer that we have been using up until the 40RLS shows up has 3 axles...Rep at FR said they couldn't do a 38 with 3 axles, so a 40 it is.
Ill take some flak for towing with a 3500 SRW, but a dually is in the works.

Congratulations !!
And welcome. !
Question...is a. 40 really 40' or more like 43-44'??
Our 275 you would think 27 1/2? Is really 33 1/2', my guess is the. # represents the size of the box.??

The specs say it is 42' 8"... ALOT of trailer....I hoping its an effort less transition, size wise. I have zero issue's towing, parking, backing our 34' bumper pull trailer now. 10 more feet with a FW... I am hoping it goes smoothly anyway.

Yes, solid white ! Add that to a white truck ! We race motocross and I plan to add some of our sponsors graphics, my shops graphics, But will be just mostly white.
The waiting game now is going to be tuff.... I'm ready ! The FR rep says 6-8 weeks, I imagine it will be longer than that......but im hopeful.

Its a roll of the dice I guess. When I bought my truck (2011 Ram 3500) ALL I saw ALL over the forums was problem this problem that. My truck just turned 100k with only 1 trip to the dealer with something wrong (a 25 $ sensor)......Other than regular maint (which being a service tech I am a stickler about) nothing....
Mikey...... I would be mad as all get out. I don't blame you. I do sincerely hope they one way or another make it right for you.

Change of subject , did you have the recall repair "tie rod" done? How much have you heard of this part failing?? I have not yet , but should I be worried ??we have a 12 3500 srwC I know it needs to b done , but I need to go to wrk,I need my trk. 23000 highway mi

Ive read a lot about it on cummins forum, I got the notice in the mail and went buy for the inspection and mine didn't need to be replaced. It is my understanding after reading about some breaking, that it happens in very slow speed turns(parking lots mostly). I would try to get by for the inspection. Did you get a notice about it ? I didn't think the 12's were affected.

Yes I got the notice. I also read a post on frf, that said if it had a certain type of clamp on steering stabilizer,"it might be a redneck " na , it may not be affected. Mine has two flat large clamps. The production date on it is 12-12-12. I will take it in, but don't know when I can.
Thanks for the info.
And again congrats, and happy camping!!

When I ordered my truck, dodge had a program where I could kinda follow it being built via email. Does FR have anything like that ? Patience isn't a strong point for me.
My dealer said no, but in the information/techno age I find that hard to believe.
