Stabilizer jacks - info needed for work and play toy hauler.

We have been looking for stabilizer jacks for our Forest River Work and Play toy hauler, they need to be extendable to at least 36". We haven't had any luck finding some that are that long. Anyone have the same issue or suggestions?

I don't know of any jacks that have that range. Most rv's have the crank down BAL jacks that work great. I know on the back of my toy hauler I use blocks so I don't have the jacks so far extended.

Get some 2x6’s and green treated 2x10 and build some blocks. Mine have a 2x10 base and 4 2x6’s stacked and screwed together. You want to keep your jacks extended as short as possible otherwise there is a lot of unwanted movement while moving around inside the camper.

At mid-point on our 5er, we have the BAL 30" stabalizer jacks with wooden blocks underneath.

The longer the stabilizer legs the more it wobbles. You are better off with shorter legs and stacks of large blocks when feasible.
