vent covers

we have been out twice with our Work N Play 21UL and love it, but have a question that someone might be able to help us with. We have the vent covers that we bought for our Rockwood 8329SS (we never installed) Is it ok to get on roof to install the covers. If anyone has any info on this we would appreciate any and all imput we can get. Thanks in advance

If they are 14" X 14" vents, I would imagine the covers are universal. Take one up on the roof and test-fit it.

I would think that unit has standard size vents, no reason why they wouldn't fit. Climb up there and place a cover over the vent, that will answer your question.

I think OP was more asking about if it is ok to get on roof itself and not really the installation question....

Yes, that's the Question Man. It should be at least 3/8 in. thick plywood on top. That what mine has and I have an 06.

I don't know what kind of roof a 21ul has but if it's like my 30WR a one piece aluminum roof stretched over thin luan is not a walk on roof. I was also told by FR factory rep not a walk on roof. When I installed my vent covers or whenever I work on the roof, I use a piece of plywood that goes from one side to the other.
