Wheel bearing washer.

Well, my new tires have arrived. So I have my truck repairman going to do the wheel bearings while he has the tires off.

So he found one of the 4 bearing loose and removed the whole works. The washer between the castle-nut and the bearing was missing. It was there on the other 3.

I spent all day and went to 3 rv dealers, 2 trailer dealers, and 2 truck part suppliers. Couple hundred miles spent. No one has it.

I need the washer. It is 1 1/16" inside and 2" outside, it is thick like grade 8.

Any help? Thanks.

Thanks, but no. It is just like a regular bolt washer. Round hole at 1 1/16' and outside diameter of 2". But it is thicker. Heavy, like grade 8.

10528z is close. But what I have is flat not conical.

2028 has the right size hole but is not big enough outside.

Wow, you guys a great. I spent the day driving and you are finding these without going anywhere. I have seen more here then on the road. Its out there somewhere. Thanks.

get the 2028 it only has to press on the inside of the bearing cone

see my full report here

Lippert, Dexter, whatever outside diameter should not matter

Called Lippert this morning. Nice guy said I could get it locally.

Found it at Priority Parts in St. Charles, Il. $2.00 out the door.

Greased, new tires and ready for our road trip to Avatan Minnesota.

I see you found it but many auto parts stores carry them as well especially NAPA.
I would be a little leary of reusing bearings if they were really loose. If the rollers seem too tight or loose in the cage I would not use them.

I would be more concerned if the any roller had any flat spots (brinelling) or any pits (spalling) in any roller or race or any grooves in the races or any hairline cracks in the cage. These will fail
