2014 21dk

Not sure if anyone has seen the 2014 version but we saw it at the local RV show this past weekend and I have to say I am very impressed. Counter space and depth was very nice. Pictures on the FR site are of the older version. Even had a mini fridge external (sorry didn't take any pics)

We aren't looking but it is nice.

the kitchenette slideout looks to be the same as the 23SS's one.
just has a little extra counterspace under the pantry.

looks like a shorter 23SS, with the couch across the front, instead of next to the kitchenette in the 23SS's superslide.
it does have a bigger bathroom.

There is no couch in the DK. You get the large U Dinette and plenty of storage thorughout. Seems they switched the slide out from the front to the rear of the camper.

The neatest feature was the mini beer fridge accessible from the exterior (by the door).

maybe i saw an older pic or the dealer had the wrong pic in it.
so that's why it's a shorter trailer with a bigger bathroom, no sofa like the 23SS has.

Yes, it is nice. So nice that I bought one!

The kitchen slide provides plenty of room (the counter space is excellent, too) and the U-dinette is nice and big. Having small kiddos, the tub is another feature specific to the model that I was very attracted to (not to mention having some counter space with the bathroom sink as well). It also comes with the wider-style hanging wardrobe closet.

Being able to get the larger bathroom w/ tub, a decent slide out (granted not the super slide but still makes a big difference when inside), all under 3,900 lbs., is great! Not to mention the outdoor fridge is kind of a nice novelty thing to have that I'm sure I'll use frequently.

We were actually looking to possibly upgrade last year (from our Rockwood 2317g PUP) and found a couple 2013 21DK's, but we were really turned off by the slide out being on the front of the camper and taking up precious awning space. So when a dealer, about 4 hours from our house, had a 2014 and we found Forest River moved the slide to the back of the RV, it was all but a done deal! Our dealer gave us a pretty nice discount IMO and great value for our trade-in.

With the decent size of the slide out and size of the bathroom (did I mention a tub for my small ones!? ), limited towing capabilities of my SUV, and being packed full of nice upgrades/amenities, this is the perfect model for my family.

I think the other 21 and 23 ft. Roo models are great, and I really feel Forest River nailed it with their 2014 21DK as far as bang for your buck and bang for the light weight of it.

We fell in love with that model when we saw it at the Pittsburgh RV show. It is the perfect size and weight for us to tow. We are sooooo close to pick up date... I'm getting so anxious!! I love the big dinette, all the storage, nice big wardrobe, and of course that out door fridge will keep the beer nice and cold on a hot day

We've booked 3 trips so far and we don't even have it yet...lol

Moving the slide to the back side was the best move. My wife loves the tub as well....so much so we have the local dealer looking in to what options (and cost would be involved) with changing out out corner shower to something similar where we could do baths for the little one.

I think today in Wisconsin we have a high of 15°, so I won't be taking any pics of mine anytime soon, lol! If you go to YouTube and search for 2014 Rockwood Roo 21DK there are a couple walk-thru videos (one by Haylett and another by Tom Taper). Otherwise just Google the RV and there are a few dealer websites with pics of the 2014.
