2015. 23IKSS Sofa Bars issue

Anyone try folding out their sofa sleeper and laying on it, foam is comfortable but the three sections have bars in between them, they hit our legs all the time. I am thinking of getting a Full 2-3" mattress topper to put on the sofa because the bars are annoying they are sort of even with the top of the foam mattress and makes for rough sleeping.

I have an air bed sofa in my 2015 23ikss. Have you considered an air mattress?

our has an air mattress too. We've slept on it and like it better than the bunks!

We ordered the air bed on our 2015 23IKSS but when it arrived FR had discontinued the air bed option and replaced it with the "uncomfortable foam mattress in 3 pieces" option. We bought an airbed from Walmart to lay on top (I think it is a full size) and a 12 vt pump. Great combo and no bars in your back or gaps in the foam. The fold out bed along with the dinette sleeper is a great option for a couple when you want to turtle.

Might have to look at Walmart bc tiny 2-3" mattress is too much $ and I like the sofa better then the tent ends, but love the layout of the 23IKSS
