Welcome to the "Roo Kroo"!!!

there's about 3 other 23IKSS owners here so you should be hearing from them.
it is an impressive floorplan.

can't say about the price, sounds high to me but i got my new ' 07 23SS for $14,500.

as to issues, the two that crop up are that you don't have access to the bathroom in transit, without putting the kitchen slide out.
and the awning over the kitchen slide.

Congrats! Ours is on order too... We paid 20k, included weight/sway hitch and a generator. Can't wait to pick it up at end of march.

I have the 23IKSS myself with all the options. Have been out twice with it so far and it's been great. Last weekend we were camping in the hill country of TX. and it got pretty cold at night. The furnace was ok, but I also carry a space heater too and everything was fine. The Gizmos covers are a must have. Didn't use them the 1st night but did on the 2nd night and what a difference they made.

Have had no problems at all with anything so far. The big floor plan is great. Lots of room and lots of storage space. One thing you want to get is a folding 7' ladder from camping world. Makes putting on the Gizmos easy and you can check to see it any branches or twigs have fallen on the slide out before you close it up. Ladder stores nicely in the front storage space.

One thing did happen, under the trailer on the sofa slide out, there is a red wire being held up by a wide black band that expands with the slide out. Near the band I had a long bolt coming down that snagged the black band and ripped it off the slide out wall. And easy fix at home where it happen but maybe not on the road with out tools. Check for it and just cut down the long bolt.

Carry a space heater in cold climate, it was 32 degrees out. Good luck, you will love it. We already have several more trips planned.

There called pop up gizmos if you search that on the internet you'll find them ..Must have for hybred or pop up owners. Helps keep heat in or out depending on the season. It looks like a solar blanket but much sturdier . Best part is it help keeps the bunk end canvas clean from outdoor elements and if you camp when its hot a lot theres also a product called reflex its a sliver insulation sold in rolls and you cut to size for your bunk windows also helps with heat and cold easy to store.

I had Gizmos for my popup and there was Velcro under the popup roof to attach them to before raising the roof. How is everybody doing them on the hybrid?

if your popup had velcro, that was a mod done. no popup or hybrid i know of, has velcro from the factory, to use with PUG's.

The maker of Popup Gizmos will sew a strip of Velcro on the top edge of your gizmos if you request it. I then just stuck several strips of Velcro on the inside lip of the bunk door frame. The gizmos are well worth it. There may be cheaper alternatives out there, but I would invest in the real thing.

The Latches on the fold down bed are ripping out of fiberglass on both ends..very disapointed as we got this trailer 1 month ago, They told me 6 weeks for a new door...They repaired it so i could use it, Picked it up this weekend and noticed the rear door doing same thing

The latch issue is on the bed part that drops down....the bracket had a screw pulling out of the fiberglass and you could tell where they tried to caulk it so it would not leak...brought it back to dealer and they said it was not the first 1 brought back like that. They repaired by lagging it until new door comes in...picked camper up and noticed back bunk latch was doing same thing...brand new camper not even a month old.
