303 protectant

Do you use the same 303 protectant vinyl tent ends as you do on the rubber seals?

So you recommend both of the products shown in your screenshot? The first for the vinyl and seals, the second for the canvas?

Are all of the windows canvas?

My regimen for bunk ends

On my 2014 183, 3 bunk ends...

the outside bunk end and top is vinyl and sheds water, the two side zippered ends are canvas and the waterproofing needs to be renewed... I do mine at least once a year... I camp in FL in the winter ( sometimes heavy rain off the Gulf) so I tend to do mine in Jan or Feb but I also camp in spring summer and fall... the canvas will wick rain water onto bed clothes like a pillow (if left in contact with the canvas) if not given this treatment periodically. I unzip the windows and give a heavy coating from inside the bunk and let air-dry.

I use the protectant on the vinyl and rubber seals at least once a year. I use the same stuff on my vinyl tonneau cover on the bed of my truck and after 5 years of constant sun it is still very black and shiny.

I also use Dollar store Awesome cleaner on the vinyl to clean up after extended stays under trees and such where the vinyl tops can get pretty dirty and even sticky with sap from pine trees.

Sometimes in extended damp and humid weather the canvas ends will get black mold on them, especially under the vinyl flaps that hide the zipper I use 2X Mold Armor from Home Depot to melt off the black stains... careful getting it on your clothes as it has bleach in it.

I hope this helps...

I hate to bring this up- we have a hybrid that has Vinyl Tent Ends—- which one do I use on that? I bought the 303 Protectant and the 303 fabric guard.

I bought the 303 as a rubber protectant. In my Hybrid days, the manufacturer suggested Woolite in water to wash the tent ends (top and sides) so that is what we always used. Kept them bright and clean. I never had any mold issues. In between trips, regularly opened everything up to keep things aired out and dry and never kept it down/put away closed if I put it down in the rain.

I have used 303 products for going on 4 years on my hybrid...

protectant on vinyl, rubber seals and fabric guard on the canvas tent ends to help waterproof them from soaking through on bedding in a heavy rain...

Home Armor 2X Mold Armor ( Home Depot) if you get any black mold anywhere on the tent ends
