AC Issue

So we were out camping on the weekend and for the first time in a year of owning the 23ikss we used the A.C. for the first time. Now the air is cool but not cold like others .would this be a recharge issue or could I be overlooking something? Trailer is a 2015 model.

You need to check the delta T to find out if the unit is working correctly you can do this by taking the temperature at the return air as compared to the outgoing air if you get close to 20* thats as good as most coils will do.

As SeaDog said, the delta-T will be the deciding factor.

Is the A/C still under warranty? If so, I wouldn't wait too long before figuring it out.
Also, is it a 13,500Btu model or a 15,000Btu model. In 2015 they had a rash of 15,000Btu models with issues. Several people (myself included) have had them replaced more than once.

Also, realize your AC system is a closed system, so your freon should not be leaking requiring a recharge.

That may be the problem my 2eikss is a 2015 and I believe it is a 15000. And lucky me it is out of warranty.

I'd call dometic anyway and tell them what's going on and see if they'll warranty it. You never know until you try. All they can do is say no, and they just might say yes.
