Anyone tried to replace a Roo shower curtain with a shower door or an accordion collap

Would be pleased to know where you order a shower door, which would replace a shower curtain.

In my 15 years on being on various Hybrid forums and owning a Roo for 10 years, I've never seen anyone successfully do something like this.
How exactly would you convert a shower curtain shower, to a shower door one, without having to remove the entire shower enclosure?

If your shower pan is the Neo design, you're out of luck. I've researched this some time ago and couldn't find anything or any company that can provide such a door. I own a Roo 23SS.

With some of the issues posted out here about doors bouncing off the tracks, shattering during travel.....are you sure you'd want a door ?

The doors are nice. I do not think I could even use the shower if it had a curtain. I would spray water all over the floor. A curtain does not stop me from pushing it out. Doors do.

The service techs I have asked about the doors shattering tell me that it is due to them not being properly stowed for travel.

Customer Fault: Standard Tech response to a known manufacturing defect.

We replaced our shower door with the Stoett Nautilus door. (https://shop.stoett.com/nautilus-ret...-doors-for-rv/) I wanted glass originally but now I am very happy with this option because it retracts completely out of the way.

The OP's shower was not configured with any kind of shower door, just a curtain.

Normally I would agree. However, in this instance, I see how it could happen. I don't know how many times I have caught the shower door not being latched on my final walkthrough. The doors are closed, but not latched. It's easy to miss. When latched they are pretty hard to move around.

bikendan, if you look at the link, the Stoett system is a great replacement for a curtain.

Thanx, never heard of it, in the 17 years I've been on various RV forums.

Stoett looks like a nice system if all you have is a straight opening with a curtain. Those of us with the angle shower have a different problem.

The angle shower is small enough with the ability to "expand" it by pushing on the curtain. I can't imagine showering in ours if it was hard sided and wouldn't move when I touched it.

Our 2020 Salem came standard with this shower "door". We do like it, with one caveat. If you spray water directly at the screen, water goes straight through and you have puddles in the bathroom. Normal showers where the water hits the screen at an angle are no problem. I had the genius idea of rinsing down the inside after a shower with the hand held...bad idea.

Not true. We have properly stored them for travel (closed and latched) and they still occasionally come off the track. It's more about how rough the road is. Ours haven't shattered (knock on wood), but it's always a concern. That being said, we love our shower dooors.
You might consider a shower extender to give you more elbow room and a towel on the floor outside the shower helps too. https://www.amazon.com/Stromberg-Car.../dp/B0031XXW4O
You also might consider some stick on magnets to put on the shower curtain and shower sides to keep the bottom in place while showering.

The RecPro product looks just like the Stoett product but with limited sizing. The screen is just the reinforcing in RecPros plastic film.

Thanks, guys for your responses. The Stoett looks good, but won't fit my angular-style door.Click image for larger version
