Battery cutoff switch location on a 2022 235S?

New to the forum and to my new Roo. I can't find the battery disconnect switch on my 2022 235S. Has anyone had success locating it? Thanks!

It’s sorta hidden on the foreward frame triangle, mate …Mounted on the frame under the propane tank. Reach down between the battery box and the propane tank cover, then forward (to the back of the frame crossmember that is below (supporting the propane tanks). You’ll find a 4position rotating knob (though the style of the switch could change). Rotate to turn trailer on/off.

They shoulda showed you this during your pre delivery inspection (PDI). Kinda important.

I see this is your first post. Welcome to the forum (and to your new Roo!)

mine is right where Rhumblefish shared as well except I actually have a large red plastic "key" that hangs by a cable to the switch and is usually stored up inside the propane cover on the bottle tray. When you want to turn on the 12VDC supply, the key gets inserted and turned 180 degrees (might be 270..err...or 90 sorry I can't picture it currently) BUT in any event, turning power on also locks the key into the switch receptacle, you can't pull it back out.

SO power on means key in place, power off means you can remove the key. Mine has a small rubber cover that gets placed on the switch receptacle when the key is out to keep spiders and dirt out of the device...if you don't see a switch but do see the rubber cover...you just need to find the little red key...

Thank you so much for your help!!! Found it!!!! Seems like it would have been a simple thing to add to the owners manual. The dealer orientation was an absolute joke. I’ve learned most everything from YouTube videos and this user group. Such a God send!

you can also find some videos user manuals and tips at Forest River

https://forestriverinc.com

user manuals are somewhat lacking .. but better than nothing
TIP look for individual manuals for things such as the fridge , oven etc
plus you can search ....

That's really a shame.

For newbies and those with little prior experience, finding a dealer with a good service/parts department is just as important as finding one with a good price.

When perusing a new place to buy something that needs maintenance, I always peruse the service department and do some pre-purchase recognizance. You can tell a lot about them by spending 15 minutes there observing.

Your dealer is to be your 1st line of help while under warranty. It's a shame when you can't count on them when it is most important.

And as many of us recommend, DON'T finalize the payment or take the RV home until you get a proper PDI/walk-through. Tell them that they don't get their money until they provide you with one.
Too many are eager to get the their new rig or are unaware that they don't have to accept a lousy PDI/walk-through.

One thing to keep in mind is that off is not necessarily off. At least on my 21ss even in the off position there is still a drain on the battery. The only two ways I know to make sure everything is turned off is to disconnect the battery or install a ground cutoff switch. I turned mine off and didn't check it for about a month and when I did the battery was totally dead. I haven't had anymore problems sense I installs said cutoff switch.
