Blowing fuses

Just before Christmas I had to move me 2016 Roo 21ss to a new storage stall, my granddaughter hooked the battery up backwards, went in and replaced the 2-40amp fuses and now the fuse blows on the living area. Everything else works except the living area keeps blowing the 15 amp fuse, I know it controls the two fantastic fans, don’t know of what else to check. Any ideas what else to check?.

When a fuse repeatedly blow, that tells me there is a short in the system. But, sadly- I don’t have the foggiest idea how you track that down.

Hopefully someone else comes along who is prettier and smarter!

You need to figure out what is not working besides the fans...
how about the overhead lights?
how about the antenna booster?
how about the stove hood light?
finally the radio/stereo?

That is about all that I can think of 12 Volt wise in the hybrid...

Pull the lamps apart and either pull out the bulb (stove hood) or disconnect the wire that powers the lamp... and leave them disconnected...

I am not sure on how to disconnect the antenna booster... so lets not worry about that now.
The radio can pull out and detach from the wiring for power... but lets leave that for now.

Now that all the lights are disconnected plug in the fuse andhopefully it should not blow out.

Now hook lights up one at a time and see what component blows the fuse. That is the one that is bad and needs replaced.

However if the fuse blows even when the lights are disconnected, then try the stereo unit, and finally the antenna booster by unscrewing the plate from the wall.

I can't think of any other 12 V appliance that is part of the living area.

how about shutting off all the breakers and the main then turn on the main and each breaker one at a time and checking what is on that circuit before you move to the next breaker? just a thought

He is blowing 12 volt fuses, not tripping 120 volt breakers. He knows which circuit has the issue.

I think rsdata is correct. You will have to isolate each item on that line and find which one has the problem or if it is the line itself.

The breakers are for your 120V system. This issue is on the 12V side.

I have a 2017 21ss and had the same fuse blowing. In the process of moving your trailer did you extend your slide-out? In my case it was the slide-out causing the problem, fortunatly it was still under warrantee and they fixed it. The wire was in a place where it was rubbing on metal parts and when the insulation wore through it blew fuses. The fix was to move the wire to a different location. I have not had a problem sense.
