broken wire on refrigerator

I was doing some checked to see if the thermostat was working on my Demetic model rm2652. I found a blue wire that is not attached to anything. It dose have a crimp fitting on it. Any thoughts. This is in my 2007 ROO 233

The wiring diagram is in the back of the Manual which is on line if yours is AWOL. I could only find one (1) blue wire but I'm sitting at my desk, not by the trailer.

Upper right in photo, there appears to be a two-terminal plug off to side of circuit board that appears to be plugged into nothing, wonder if it was plugged into that at one time. Don't just randomly plug it in there though! You can pull your temp probe cable in your fridge and have someone watch to see what wire is moving, that's how I identified my temp probe wire.

The thermister (probe) is a pair of wires in a white protective shroud that go into a plug onto circuit board.

Manual is awol I am the 3rd owner of this fine TT. I have found and tested the thermostat and it tested as it should. Need to find the correct place for the blue wire [at the end of the blue arroe] and hope that the fridge works right. The hole thing will cool down for about a day then the refrigerator worms up during g the day and cools down so.e at night.

Well my first question would be does it work but you answered that

From what I see with that amount of dirt in it that wire hasn’t been plugged in for a long long time.

It think you’re chase a false lead. No pun intended.

It looks like it is a test point. But a test point for what?

My experience with the fridge in the 2007 I had was there wasn't enough air flow through the vents and that causes the fridge warm up during the day. Clean and blow out that area as good as you can and for a test remove the cover and see if the fridge performance improves. A lot of people add a fan inside to help move more air through. The newer models have the fan. I have a 2018 now and it has the fan and maintains temp much better.

When camping with the old trailer I would pull off the cover and try to keep that side of the trailer shaded during the afternoon and it made a big difference. I never got around to adding a fan but it was on my list of mods.
