Brute 4500 electric tongue jack w/remote

Greetings Campers,

I'm hoping I can get two questions answered:

1. Does anyone have experience with the Brute 4500 power tongue jack w/remote? I have a 2016 Roo233s with Husky WDH and sway control. I like the remote, I'm sure I don't need 4500# but can always transfer to my next TT.

2. Research suggests that the top of the electric jack when mounted on the A frame is 22 1/4 inches from frame. My TT is in storage. Will the front bunk have enough room to fully open without hitting the top of the power Jack?

Thanks for your input.

I replaced my original jack with a Husky 4500 without the remote. Have been very happy with this jack. I have plenty of room for the jack with the bunk open. Mine is a few years older than yours so can't speak for the newer models.

I put the HB4500 on my previous Roo and my current TT. It's a great power jack. It's made in China but it's very good quality. I don't have the remote. I really don't see a need for it. When I’m using the jack, I’m unhooking the trailer and I need to be there anyway. The 4500# capacity is helpful when lifting the tongue and the back end of your TV in order to put the weight distribution bars on.

Thanks for your responses. I've ordered the Husky 4500, no remote. C'mon spring weather!

They are a Beast I bought one with remotes only to hook up my old TT and bring it to the dealer to regrade in 2 years ago and my tongue weight dry was 900lbs. That jack picked up the trailer and back of my F150 will no issues, in fact I am not in a fifth wheel so I have it for sale here but great customer service and great product.
