Bunk end bubble

I recently noticed this bubble in the lower left corner of the tent end of my 2013 Roo. Is this a normal sort of thing that happens (maybe from being in the sun or whatever?) I was thinking maybe water, but I've seen no signs of water in the bunk end, and it's always dry when I fold it down etc. Is this something that I should be concerned about?

(not sure why this is posting upside down.. sorry )

Unfortunately, that's delamination. I had that on my previous Roo as well. Water has somehow gotten behind the skin and is delaminating from the underlying structure.

Unless you're really talented, that door will have to be replaced. I see your's has the old style door latches so you'll be beyond the factory warranty. FR may still work something out for you. I was the second owner and they gave me new doors but I had to pay a local dealer to install them.

Go read the thread down below titled "Check your bunk ends". It's to late now but that could be where the water got in. Did it rain while you had your bunks down? If so check the other one to stop it from happening.

It's either from water wicking up from a pool along the hinge or water intrusion along the bunk door frame.

It'll require replacing the Luan material in the door frame.
But the area allowing water intrusion needs to be determined.

Check the 90 degree bend area, guarantee you will find that the corner is pulled apart slightly and silcone is no longer covering the corner. Water has then wicked up into the door material and the glue is no longer bonded to the door skin.

Thanks, everyone. As always, you folks are a wealth of knowledge and experience. Of course I'm bummed to hear that it is actually water damage. I'll check the area by the hinge.

I still have a year left on my extended warranty. Hopefully they'll cover something like this. Fingers crossed!
