camper frame hitch receiver
well I bent the rear bumper with a bolt receiver and bike rack. got a bit of a stress crack going as well. so....
anyone have experience with the adjustable frame 2" receivers that I see on etrailer? like this one.
https://www.etrailer.com/RV-and-Camp...SABEgJDu_D_BwE
my other thought is, since I have a 2019, I guess I void the warranty by bolting into the frame.. but should I really care if I void the warranty? what does voiding the warranty really mean? do I wait until the warranty period is over to do this and tell the kids no bikes for awhile?

You may have voided the frame warranty, from bending the bumper and cracking the welds.
Did you research this before bolting the receiver to the bumper because there are hundreds of threads on this subject here?

Was it factory or dealer-add on?

Ouch! I would hold them responsible for this, since it's warned against by Rockwood.
I believe that the 2020 Roos are coming with a factory receiver but there must be better reinforcement now.

Yup, bring it up with your dealer, it’s WELL known these bumper hold nothing and will crack if something is bolted to it.
We had our dealer weld a reliever to ours right as it arrived from the factory. Works great and we were told that Lippert has yet to not warranty a frame with a decently welded receiver on it.

Related to the Curt receiver, you may want to read this thread:

Here's a good thread for some beefed up receivers and some other options.

Also, note that "most" bike racks are not "qualified" for TT use. That being said, I've been using my "unqualified" Thule 990XT for about 8 years now.

Lippert warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on, based on some actual experiences posted on this forum.
If you want something heavy duty, consider this:

You think? I can recall reading many threads where Lippert has sent a welder to redo spring hangers or cracked/bent frames. Sometimes on trailers years out of warranty. I was really impressed reading some of these posts.

I fear those days are long gone, like so many other pro-customer things in the RV industry.
I was unhappy to see that my new 2019 Coachmen 192RBS had only a ONE YEAR frame warranty. I was also put off by the fact that FR had given me the Full Floor Foam Insulation "upgrade" that means I can't examine the quality of the frame welds under most of the trailer. Coincidence?

I built my own receiver and the cargo rack that slides in. Very heavy duty.

Hybrids don't have heavy duty frames, like a Cedar Creek does. They have ultralight frames.
