Can I leave the frog on while pulling in the slide out?

We have a kitchen slide out on our IKSS. We have it in front of our house while we use shore power to chill the fridge for tomorrow's trip. Can we leave it turned on (using electricity) and pull in the kitchen slide out so that it is not blocking our sidewalk?

I don't see why not, we cool the fridge down with the slide in before each trip.

That's what I thought. Just wanted to check with someone far more experienced than us - which would mean you have gone on more than one trip. ;-)

Keep it plugged in. Mine is plugged in all summer and slides are closed.

I'm glad that all got cleared up. The only thing you should really be concerned about when pulling in or moving out your slides is the level of your RV. There is some leeway, but it's always best to have the unit pretty much level when moving the slides.

Fridge works fine with the slide in or out. Both on electric or propane.

Thanks, All. Yes, it was "frig". I keep the frog and grog with our PUGs. (And it is a "he", not a "she". But sense some might consider it a dumb question I'll not point out to my DW that someone thought the question came from a "she".)

Batteries are a dealer installed item, on all towables.
Only Motorhomes come with a factory battery.
