Can't get A/C to work

I have a 2014 Rockwood Roo & first time out in it & can't get the a/c or fan to work! Help! In-laws are coming! Any suggestions on what to try! Already tried turning the main off & resetting but didn't work. Only can find installation manuals & not anything useful!

Do you have the digital dometic t-stat? does it light up at all? Have you checked the AC breaker and 12v fuse?

You are sure you have 110 volts in the trailer? Microwave works?

Yes I have checked the circuit and the fuse and they are both good. However it is not a digital thermostat. And yes the microwave does work!

If you take the cover off of the ac unit on the ceiling there should be a wiring harness, make sure that's plugged in. Did it work at your PDI?

Mine did not work during PDI and it was a small fuse that was missing in the thermostat itself. When you take cover off thermostat it was on the bottom left. The small round type fuses.

wow! how did it get unplugged?
i'm assuming that the dealer ran the a/c during the PDI, since they're supposed to show that all the systems work.

if they didn't run the a/c during the PDI, i'd really complain to the manager.
who knows what else they didn't show you?

that's a really poor PDI if they didn't plug the harness back in.

It sounds as if the A/C may have been dealer installed. But surely they would have plugged it in and checked it out after install? I echo bikendan - I'd mention this to the general manager of the dealership.

If you buy from an internet wholesaler and have it delivered, do you always get a PDI from the delivery person, especially if you don't have the proper electrical outlets and/or water available at the delivery point? I have always kind of wondered about that, but am not saying the OP got theirs from one....nor trying to hijack this post. Just thought I would ask since the OP has resolved their problem already.
