Yep. I think you have to be real careful about any cleaners on those panels. Somewhere on this form the same thing has happened. I believe there is a scotchguard product that will put some repellency back into them. You can search for it or I'm sure someone will come along with a direct link. I believe it's a specific product, not just any scotchguard.

I had the same issue with my popup panels. I used 303 Fabric Guard, two coats, and has worked fine.

Evening how bad were the fumes? Did you zip the windows up after applying?

any outdoorstore or amazon sells products that will treat canvas to repel water... the hand spray types are generally cheaper than the canned spray types, but both work... I have used them for years... the smell pretty much disappates pretty quickly, best used in the sun

We had the same issues - nothing would clean that fabric part of the tent ends so I finally just used the Home Armor with Bleach and it took it right off, along with the water resistance.

Used Scotch Guard in the green can as another thread listed that as the recommendation from TJ Snuggles (the manufacturer). Took me 3 coats, 2 on the outside, 1 on the inside, to get them where they didn't let water soak through.

Got the job done, but if they do have a non aerosol version, I would use that in the future. Seemed like a lot of over-spray with the can.

Thank you for sharing this.... we are having the same problem with our 2010 Rockwood Roo Hybrid that we picked up from the dealership less than 1 month ago. First trip out it rained and bedding was wet!! Heading out now to pick up the Scotchgard Heavy Duty Watershield.
