Center a/c vents not blowing.

Just wondering if anyone has experience an issue with no air coming outbid the center vents. I can feel any air from then when the air is directed to the vents. Also has anyone added a second a/c unit to their Roo?

Assuming you have ducted AC. If so, they may not have opened up the passages from the AC's cold air plenum into the ducts large enough. Below is a pic of the opening of the passage from my duct to the cold air plenum.

In this pic, you can tell the light from the plenum is a little brighter and you can see the foam I cut out of the restricted passage laying on the bottom of the duct.

I accessed mine from the roof, but it's probably better to do it from the inside. Also while you're in there, check the barrier between the hot and cold plenums. Very often this barrier is not installed properly, or has leaks around the edges.

See Fig 1 in the attached for the passages ("Supply air ducts") and the barrier ("Duct Divider").

Did you have to remove the ac unit in order have access to this passage?

You don't need to remove the AC. My inside grille was "sealed" (caulked?) to the ceiling and I was a little hesitant to disturb it, so I went from the top. Since then, I've of others who have dropped the grille and not messed up the caulk, so if I need to go in again, I'll probably go that way. Probably run an Exacto blade around the caulk, then drop the grille.

Going from the top, you have to remove the AC cover and then open up the sheet metal surrounding the evaporator coils. If you go this way, try for a cool, cloudy day (don't ask me how I know!). It's more difficult to get down to the passages from the top.
