Cheap easy mod I thought about to late
Our first trip out I had to do a brake check on I75. Everything did what it was suppose to and we came safely to a stop. First stop for gas we checked the camper only to find sugar and miscellaneous items spread from the back bunk to the front. Hindsight, bad plan to use anything of weight in the fore aft cupboard. But, I came up with this none the less. I think I have about 2 bucks into it. Silly, but may help someone. 2 21in adjustable spring loaded curtain rods from the dollar store.

What model and year is your camper? Recall the cabinet color? Almost looks like the Maple option we just ordered for our new 2016 Roo.

It's pretty common practice amongst RV'ers to organize stuff in the pantry into plastic dish pans, or tubs. (Rectangular, soft rubber/plastic about 12 x 24 in and 6 in deep)
They are really good for things that spill, such as liquids or powdered things like sugar and flour. We have one for coffee and tea stuff, one for cooking oil and steak sauce and that sort of stuff and one for cleaning supplies like dish soap and 409. I just didn't see them in your picture. And those curtain rods also work great in the fridge!
Our canned goods travel in what we used to call "soda flats"... those milk crate like things that bottled soft drinks travel in (and I'm not really supposed to have.)

Koolaide, bean dip and peanut butter.. I think I'll sleep outside thank you very much.
Just messing with you purdyquibb. No offense intended.
Nice mod! I use some of the specialty cupboard spring bars, but never would have thought of curtain rods. I'm sure they would work just as well and at a fraction of the cost.
~ Kudos for sharing

Our V-Lite is a (2010) that year you could order a front kitchen with the (? Lite Wood) and the rest of the unit was (Dark Cherry) they had some (Froo Froo) name for the Light color? Some Cabinet makers might call the color (Washed Maple?). Youroo!!

for traveling, I put my loose items like you show into plastic bins that you can get at the $ store, then when we get to where we are camping I take them out and store them as you have them. the storage bins I get are the small ones that will sit in the same cabinets I will store the items in.

We have a mixture, plastic bins, old refrig bins, and cardboard boxes. We put the containers with heavy cans on the floor while in transit and slip them in the cupboards when we get to campsite. Just got back from YNP/Tetons and all went well.

lol, Pretty funny comments guys. Actually we do drink a lot of kool aid. We were just getting ready for 8 days at Mackinaw City Mi, Wilderness state park. In fact, Just got home. But in fairness I just stuck some things in there for the picture. But it is true, We did take ALL the kool-aid and I'm not sure how much made it back?

Slightly off topic, but speaking of Kool Aid I fill any left over space in the freezer with Otter Pops. Filling all of the space helps keep everything cold. They do not leak when thawed. After a long day out in the son I enjoy them.
