City water cap

What is the correct cap? This is on my 2011 23SS. Pictures or links would be great. Thanks

Just has to be a male hose thread plug. Likely find one at Home depot as well.

I would like a photo of what cap came on the trailer. What I have is only part of what it was. There is not a lot of space between the flower and the pipe for a loop. I bought something like babock's link and I can make it work but I might not be happy with the results. I want something attached that is not easily lost. Thanks for the replies.

This should be the OEM part your looking for. It is manufactured by two different companies JR products and B&B molders.

Link

Not sure if you can just purchase/replace the cap.

No need for a RV-specific part although a lanyard is very helpful.

Technically it's a plug (male), not a cap, as the connection on the side of the trailer is female.

Any hose plug will work. Home Depot/Lowes. I 3D printed one when I was in a hurry.

Thanks for the replies

I went with a generic one. Not happy with it but for as often as it is actually used I can live with it.

Mine have snap caps, (see 1st photo) but as mentioned, any garden hose plug will do.

Here are a couple...

Plastic Dust Cap RV City Water

RV City Water Cap - Amazon

Garden Hose Cap and Lanyard.

JP in AZ. I have a 2011 Roo & the plug that you show in your post that is a Valterra is like the original that came on the trailer. Mine broke off & the Valterra is the one that my local RV parts store carries. Works very well the strap fits over the knobby connector just fine.
