I tie a 6" length of paracord around at each end of a wooden dowel that is about 6 in wider than my bunk. I then hang the dowel off of the bolts that go into the bunk latch to hold the bunk up. I do it on both of my bunks. It works really well. If needed you can stack dowel like a ladder. Thick walled CPCV will also work, but does not support the weight of wet towels/clothes as well as the wood.

You might try affixing a couple of boat angled railing bases to the bumper and then insert railing sections with 90 degree fittings and more railing going horizontally. Everything except the bases could be temporary by securing the set screws. The rest of it could break down for easy storage. See: https://www.marinedepotdirect.com/st...8aAi0xEALw_wcB

Optionally you could try the bases with pvc tubing & angles

Our first year RVing near a lake, we had a knock on our door from a campground "ranger" very politely letting us know that hanging clothes outside of the RV was verboten. Sure enough; it was there in the rules.

So, make sure that you check for this in each campground's rules. I'm just sayin'.....

My Cloths Rack for ladder or horizontal compartment doors

Here's a link to the rack I have. Using angle brackets adjustable with threaded knobs I have mounted on the ladder and on one of my horizontal swing compartment doors.

I do not remember where I purchased.

Good Luck

Amazon has several styles of RV drying racks to review. We have become interested in this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Stromberg-Carlson-0126-4004-CL-27-Extend-A-Line/dp/B018WH8Q4O/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3KES66YMJMFL3&dchild=1&keywords=rv +clothes+drying+rack+ladder+mounted&qid=1612814594 &sprefix=RV+cloth%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-5

Many campgrounds prohibit clothes lines stretched to or between trees, but I haven't had one tell me I couldn't hang beach towels, etc
from the ladder or awning supports.

I use a folding rack like this. 16 bucks at BJ's. Mine is a little bigger, nicer. Folds flat. We use it all the time for our wet towels, bathing suits, etc. Gets a lot of use when we are home too.

I second the suggestion for the Stromberg-Carlson rack that quickly clamps to your back ladder. Be aware that they are available in two different lengths. We bought the longer one for our 5ht wheel and our friends bought the shorter one for their 38ft A-class. The only negative is that the rungs are chrome plated and if left on as in month long camping will eventually surface rust. For that reason we went to a nearby flea market in Texas where we were and had them make up naugehyde (vinyl) sock with velcro strap closer and holdon strap. With that we just collapse the rack and put on the sock until we need to use it again. Otherwise it would be best to remove the rack and store it under the trailer.

X3 on these. I think there are 3 offered sizes, at least there were when we bought ours. I recall that they offer a gizmo to allow them to be attached to more than just a ladder including the bumper.

My wife found some heavy duty bungee straps at a rummage and we just clipped them on to the back and front bunks. It worked great to dry the towels and swim stuff. They are in storage right now so I don't know the brand but they had clips on each end. We also used it in the hall to hold back the mattress when in tow or it just fell over.
