Concertone ZX75 intermittent reception of FM stations

I have a 2010 Roo with the Concertone ZX75 stereo. Has worked well so far, but the past several years have not been able to receive FM stations very well. It could be the antenna, but not sure. Any suggestions. Also if I have to replace the unit what would be a good replacement be for this. I know that the size won't be the same & would have to make some adjustments if I get a newer unit.

I assume it plays a CD OK.
Turn the radio on loud enough to be able to tell if you jiggle a bad connection. I would first check the antenna to make sure it's tight, and if there is an adjustment in the antenna mount, tighten any screws there. Then I'd inspect the antenna connection in the radio's rear. It might pay off to borrow or even buy an automotive antenna to see if there is a difference in reception.

I had my original quit on me, and I got a Genesis GT-2.0. I had to cut just a little of the cabinet facing along one dimension (side, I believe). It's a serviceable unit and I'm pleased, but it's not high-quality if you like fine listening. I did have to search online a bit to find it.
