Cool weather camping

We are camping these last couple fall weekends before we have to close it up for the winter. Using the furnace I am noticing is causing condensation on the inside of the canvas bed ends. Any suggestions on what to do?

1. Use Popup Gizmos and Reflectix
2. Use the bunk fans or roof fan to keep air moving
3. If you have electric hookups, use a dehumidifier

unzip bunk end top tent zip slightly
at minimum open fans on roof slightly
run bunk end fan to circulate your breath from off the cool canvas

your situation not unusual, just learn to deal with it and minimize

I run the bathroom fan on low 24/7 and crack open the front fan which eliminates the moisture without having the bunk fans going or using PUGS, neither of which my wife likes to use. That way it doesn’t affect heat in camper much.

You want to stop the cold outside air and warm inside air from meeting on canvas and sitting. Moving it around stops it from happening.

The oft quoted amount of water vapor exhaled overnight is a pint and we all remember a pint is a pound. That and any cooking indoors increases the indoor humidity in a small space like a camper. Just follow the suggestions above.

For fun and if you're really bored weigh your self just before bed and first thing in the morning. Always nice to loose a pound.
