Cupboard

Does anyone know why they changed the cupboard over the couch? My 2013 has three cupboards that open upward and held by gas shocks, the new ones only have two door cupboard which open side to side?

Can't answer why but my 2005 roo had many of the doors that opened upwards and I'm happy my new solaire has the side opening doors. Many of the shocks in my roo were broken. They were cheap plastic. One less thing to break now

My 2014 233S has two doors and both open upwards as you described on your 2013.

I'm guessing the ones that open up are more expensive, as you have to install a shock. On the other hand, I like the ones that open up. The normal ones are head-knockers. But it's not a deal breaker on my purchase.

I wish the newer one would have stuck with upward opening doors. And I don't know why they went from three doors to two...
