Even more happy with our purchase!
We bought our Roo 1 year ago and had some issues with our dealer. In the end we got a great deal, but I felt more reassured today. We went to the same RV show as last year and our dealer was selling our same model for $2000 MORE then last year. It also was missing the power awning, power jack, and oven. CRAZY!

$2000 less and you got more features, you did good! Was there anything on the new one you saw at the show that wasn't on yours?

It just had a cooktop and no oven.
There were no changes to it except removal of the little wood railings along the shelves above the bed and dinette. It was a really stupid change because now you can't travel with anything on them, it will just fall. It really makes it look unfinished too. Bad call by Forest River.

Did you notice if they substituted the microwave for a convection/microwave? If they did then you wouldn't need the oven.

They did not, it was just a regular microwave like ours. I know last year you could get it with/without the oven so I assume they still offer it.

the Roo/Shamrock line doesn't have an option for the convection microwave.
that kind of feature is on much higher priced RV's.

We had a Fleetwood highwall pup years ago that didn't have an oven but it did have a micro/convection. The space under the cooktop where the oven would've gone made for an extra storage cabinet.

I would love a convection oven but ours is only a micro, you can purchase a nice Oster convection of a good travel size at WM for about 75 bucks.

I'm pretty sure it sounds like you bought your Roo 25Rs from the same dealer we bought ours from, we had a good exp. from them in all areas, even negotiations, which usually are worst then car dealers, no power awning or jacks....no oven was a plus for us, gave more storage..... need to mod. screen door due to dogs..maybe a grille for the bottom..haven't figure out how to better the latch to the screen door, just takes a "bump" to open.

I dislike one of the service guys and they tried to tell me all my seals on the roof were cracked and it would need 12-16 tubes of dicor to caulk it. I went on the roof and there were no cracks, but a section by the skylight was thinned. 1 tube of dicor and everything is perfect. The buying process was a piece of cake though.
