Front light question

Not sure what the light is called, so my searches have not been successful.
Took the Roo out this past weekend and noticed the light was not working, heck, I'm not even sure which circuit it's on.

Any ideas as to what this light is called and which circuit it's on?
Not my unit, but circled in red on pic of this one.

It's just a outdoor light, so if your in the dark hooking up. I'm not sure where your switch is on the Roo. Could be on wall inside or on top the light itself
Mine is called ( ods flood ) inside camper in the control panel

Only switches for lights on my panel are Interior, Awning and Patio. Not sure if this one is tied to the patio light or not.

It's also not working, so i need to figure out which bulb it uses so I can get it replaced. Unless it's LED, then there may be a wiring issue as I don't recall it ever working.

Yhe cover should pop off easily, i think you push down on the top of cover and pull it out at some time
Maybe use a small flat head screw driver to pry it down ,put not hard they break

All the lights I've ever seen in that position have their switches right on the fixture - so you don't have to go inside to turn them on.

Yep! Should have a rocker switch on the light itself.

Dont have a roo but mine is called a docking light.
My switch is right next to the power Jack switch on the right front of trailer. They look to be there in your picture as well but I realize that is not your trailer and it may not be the case for you.

The other switch on my jack is for 3 small LED's on the jack itself. They are really not bright enough to use though.

My 2018 Cherokee has a rocker switch on the light and a switch inside on my panel....unlabeled of course. 2 minutes with a label maker, but just keep putting it off.

X2. This one probably isn't yours, but it will be similar. Switch underneath.

The light on my 2015 Shamrock 233s did not work, and upon removal of the lens I found the assembly very dirty from road splash thrown up by the tow vehicle. I cleaned everything up, and sealed the lens to the light body with clear silicone sealer. So far so good.

As others have said, it only comes on with the rocker switch on the bottom. I have the same one, and it took me a while to figure that out. Everything seemed so advanced on this camper compared to what I use to have, I guess I just didn't expect it to be that simple.: )

The switch is definitely underneath. It also can go bad from road splashing of rain. Mine has done so. Had to open up and clean the contacts to insure it was working.

mitchlandry, is any of this helping you? Do these replies make any sense? What's the status, please?

Yes, the information has been very helpful. Once i get back to the camper next week, i'll check it out. Unfortunately, I live in a neighborhood that doesn't allow campers/boats,etc.. to be parked, so the camper is at a storage facility.

Great! Thanks.
I once had your issue. Found out I had to bend over further to see my switch... merely felt for it after that.
