First, what do you put in your black tank after it is pumped to help break down the remaining solids and keep the smell down?
you'll get tons of different suggestions. GEO method is popular. We like Odorlos, which we've been using in our Roo for 10 years. By the way, it isn't "pumped", it's drained.

Second, do you need special toilet paper?
NO, you don't need special TP. but do a dissolve test with whatever you pick.

Third, what sewer hose do everyone recommend?
Again, LOTS of opinions on this. we just use a basic kit we got at Walmart. been fine for 10 years.

Fourth, what kind of screens are recommended for over the heater and stove vent to keep bees from nesting in them?
we don't have this issue so have never done it.

Fifth, with heated mattresses, are you supposed to use a fitted sheet with the heat on or is there a risk of fire?
As was said, the wattage is so low, there's virtually no fire danger. Heated mattresses have been around for decades, so if fire was a real danger, they would have discontinued them.
most of your questions will get tons of different answers.
it's best to do your own research and decide for yourself. try a few different recommendations and see how they work for you.

With the heated mattress any queen sheet will work I even have a foam topper and it still gets hot. I have used it for 5 years without any problems.

No risk of fire unless there is a short or malfunction and it won't matter what your mattress coverings are.

We don't use a mattress pad or fitted sheet but wouldn't be afraid to do so.

Red face

Just so you know, we all say use plenty of water when using the toilet?
Use 1 full bowl of water for #1 and 2 full bowls of water for #2. You are trying to eliminate the brown pyramid of death.
Using plenty of water keeps everything floating and willing to be flushed at dump time.

You could also take up a diet that, let's say, doesn't lend itself to being very hard and the "water" would be included with your movement.
