getting a charge

can anyone explain what I need to do to charge my TT batteries with my TV while driving?

First, you need to post what TV you have. It's not listed in your profile.

Second, most TVs only provide a trickle charge while driving. If a battery is below 50%, it'll take hours of driving to recharge the battery.

Third, you need to check the TV's 7 pin connector with a multimeter to see if there's power through the charging wire.

Fourth, a fuse or relay may not be installed, so it won't charge while driving.

yes I need to finish that. Tow vehicle is a 2013 toyota tundra trd. TT is a 2017 shamrock 21ss.

Check to insure you have 12V on pin 4. Some vehicles only supply 12V when the vehicle is running ( ign on). Also check the fuse block as many times the manufacturer does not install the fuse for the 12V line. If you have the ignition controlled line, you will also have a relay that needs to be installed. As mentioned above, the 12V charge line will keep a mostly charged battery topped off, but unless you drive for most of a day, you will not recharge a depleted battery.
