We are waiting to use our v lite and will let you know how it holds up. We had a 1996 sunline that up to last year had just regular maintenance done to never had a problem in 11 yrs we had it. Awning now needs replacing, water heater needs new electronics, and carpet was replaced 2 yrs ago. All in not much there and held its value at Christmas several tree limbs went trough its roof and it was totaled by insurance co., to our surprise it was worth almost the purchase price we paid. I really have no complaints with it and hoping for similar holding value out of our v lite.

just for clarification, the OP posted the question about a Roo hybrid, in the Roo/Shamrock sub-forum because they are wanting to know about the Roo brand's longevity.
posting about other brands and types of RV's, doesn't help answer the OP's question.

Have a 2011 Shamrock 19. Going on our 5th summer this year.

Had no issues at all. Radio was replaced under warranty.

The drawers kept opening during travel, so a bungee cord around all doors and drawers fixed it.

Got the $150 extended 2nd year warranty. Worth it.

Do not spend a dime on any other extended warranty is my suggestion.

Good luck.

We spent some time in our 5er today....we'd reported that the water filter canister had a *very* slow drip. DH intended to grease the o-ring, but when he opened up that cabinet it was totally DRY! We'll continue to monitor that closely but we're thinking the o-ring needed a few days of moisture to seat and seal off.

We went over it with a fine toothed comb, checking fit and finish inside and out, checked all caulking, rinsed off the outside, got all the bird rudeness off...we're good to geaux!

OK, so we've only owned 'er since Jan. 4th, but I'd say she's holding up pretty darn good!

Really appreciate all your replies!
Setting up our pdi for Saturday, can't wait to drag it home!
Already have the list if stuff to check during pdi.
I think I'm gonna cancel my warranty when we pick it up.
