Issues with bunk hinges

2017 shamrock 21ss. Bunk hinge is pulling off the bunk end, 1 rivet completely gone, 2 others loose. Anyone else having this problem? 9 rivets to hold the bunk end on is a horrible design. The hinge is now bent along with edge of the bunk end.

We had the dealership add another rivet in between the factory ones on our Ď19 because I noticed them pulling a bit on one end. I agree, poor design because your weight pulls rivet looser, not tighter. Once we had the additional ones installed itís been fine.

I've just noticed now that all the screws that are on the camper side of the bunk are on the hinge are coming loose and sticking out about 1/4". That will put pressure on the rivets on the bunk side when the bunk is closed.

Mine was doing the same thing on the back bunk. Had 3 screws backing out. In for warranty work now and this was on the list of things to do.

Yep - and if it's inconvenient to get to a shop you can buy a rivet gun and rivets at Harbor Freight and do the job yourself https://www.harborfreight.com/heavy-...tle-66422.html
