JT Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer System
I am considering adding the JT Strong Arm Jack Stabilizers to my 2019 Rockwood Roo 24WS. I am looking for some real world experience with them. Are they worth the cost and time to install? Do they add much for stabilization? I currently use Bal X-Chocks, and the stock corner stabilization jacks currently and would like to get more of the bounce and shake out of the camper on long trips.

I put them on my 2014 Voltage 3950 years ago and never looked back. Wed had two large labs that would rock the 44' toyhauler when they would lumber around at night. Not anymore after I installed them. Doesn't take long to install at all.
Word of caution - Don't forget to loosen the T-handles before extending or retracting your jacks - the bolts connecting them to the frame WILL break off.

I had these on my previous 5er made a big difference and easy to install well worth the money. you will need to sets. And like FlyingFool said make sure you loosen the locking bolts before retracting (speaking from experience) https://www.walmart.com/ip/Bal-Produ...=sem&gclsrc=ds

My camper came with these fortunately, I think they are a great asset to have. We set up one time in Texas where we had 50+ mph winds with a severe thunderstorm and it stayed pretty still for the most part. If your camper feels like it has some play, even after setting your stabilizer jacks, then maybe you should consider a set.

Another option and what I am using now is Trailer Legs they go under your axles and you basically pull your rig up on em. They lift the suspension off the ground and once you level the jacks there is almost no bounce/movement in the trailer at all. Also takes the stress off the tires especially when you won't be moving your rig fro a while and are great for lubing the axles and working on the brakes, etc. https://trailerlegs.com/

I added them to my 279RLDS a couple of years ago and it was well worth the money and time to do it. They make a huge difference. When my son camps with us we could feel every time he would roll over at night because the whole trailer would shake even I had the jacks down, wheels chocked and the BAL X-Chocks in place. Not I don't even use the X-chocks, don't need them, and it's much more stabile feeling.

We have them on our 25RL and they are very much worth the money and time to install.

We had them on all 4 corners of our previous 5th wheel and they worked great, worth every penny IMHO.

I have a 34’ 5th wheel Sierra 300 RL. I had the tongue jack then got fed up. Put on the JT’s and have been very impressed. Easy install. Easy setup. NO LIFTING. I would buy them again.

That would not work with a ROO since I have torsion suspension, but thanks for the tip.

I see the standard set comes with 6 arms. I assume you put 2 on each of the back corners (1 sideways and 1 towards the front). If that is what you had, then what direction did you go with the front ones?

We have the BAL lock arms (Similar but less $$) on our 23BDS and they are great. We have one on each of the rear stabs, mounted across the back and a set running diagonally down the tongue to the front stabs. It's a dramatic improvement over just the X chocks, which we use as well. The trailer is extremely stable.

Take a look at the SteadyFast system. Same principle but better design in my opinion, and much easier to use. http://www.steadyfast.com/

Two go on each front jack. One front to back the other side to side. Rear jack each get one and they get mounted at an angle depending on the location of a frame crossmember

JT Strongarms
I put a set on my 21SS Roo and they work perfect. Absolutely no movement when someone is walking around inside. It was a little work to install including mounting some angle iron braces but worth every penny of time. They require virtually no additional work when setting up the camper either. I highly recommend them.

As NMWildcat stated, the Steadyfast system is great and easy to install and use. It has been twelve years, still looks and works great.

I don't have any experience with the JT Strong Arms though I do with the Steadyfast stabilizer. I have 3 kids that seem to walk like Sumos through the rig. It is night and day from before I installed them.
I've never used the JT I"m assuming you'd see similar results.
I did come across this forum which talks about both.

As others have mentioned, consider the SteadyFast system. More flexibility in the install, less bars, easier on the hands, and as good or slightly better performance.

Not to "sway" you one way or the other
I purchased a SteadyFast through a 3rd party and it was missing a piece. I contacted SteadyFast over the weekend via email, asking if I could purchase the missing piece. Monday morning they got back to me. Paul confirmed the piece I was missing and shipped it out. No charge.
I also had some questions about installing along with my Ultra-Fab Products PowerTwin II 30" Stabilizers and the responses were very quick. Paul made WELL THOUGHT OUT suggestions. He also suggested I send pictures for him to review so he could make informed decisions for my specific rig.
While I was working with him I told myself if I got the chance to sing SteadyFast praise I would and here I am.
Overall great experience.
