Just brought home the new camper

Purchased a Shamrock 21DK at RV show two weeks ago. Just brought it home today. Too bad we can't use it for a couple months with the Midwest weather. Took it immediately to storage and put the cover on it. Guess we have something to look forward to when the weather breaks.

Congratulations on your new unit! Spring will be here before you know it. We have TT on order and are chomping at the bit. It has only been two weeks. We are unsure how long it will take as we ordered it at the Tampa RV show. Also, it is a new floorplan, so we don't have an idea on how popular it will be. If it's not too popular, we are afraid that they won't manufacture until they hit a certain number that makes it worth their while.

Snowing and blowing today here in Wisconsin. My Roo is covered in snow and ice. Spring is still 47 days away. Good luck with your new camper!

Congrats on the new Shamrock. We love our new 233s that we just got in July. Can't wait until March for our first trip of 2015?

We have a 2014 21dk! Love it. Need any help or suggestions on mods let me know, we have done them all and then some to ours! It's great and not much more work than a regular trailer.

Congrat on your new TT. I owned 2 Shamrocks previously and they were flawless units.

Hey chi...do you have your mods listed anywhere? As a potential owner of that model I would be really curious to see what you changed, modified, etc. thanks!

Well. I welded a hitch receiver to the front frame to hold my WDH when camping. Added 3 storage holders "fence post" to the underside to hold a satellite stand, ladder and sewer lines. Added hdmi hook up to the outside tv for Playstation or directv. Added led lights behind the trim around the slide, with a dimmer. Really adds a great indirect light to the room (the stock ceiling leds are super bright and not a good color). Added a led light strip behind the range hood for more indirect light. Added another circuit breaker for a transfer switch for the 800w inverter I added. Let's me switch from generator to battery without losing power. Added a rgbww led strip outside the awning with a dimmer and remote. Rewired the outside fridge separate from the inside one to keep from wasting power. Plus the outside fridge will over heat if it isn't open or has other things in with it. Added a rear bumper gas can holder to help with carrying gas outside of the trailer or tow vehicle. Made my own awning hold down poles and brackets with tie downs for quick release and stowing. Changed out the shower head for better flow. Added a tinted piece of plexiglass to the front screen door for the dogs. Reversed the hinges on the cabinet door at the entry door to access the storage from just opening the outside door (all my tools are there). Added a magnet catch to the screwed shut cabinet door where the water pump and filter are (my transfer switch and inverter are there.) And this year I will add 2 6v batteries. And soon a hinged self covering awning cover that I saw 'oldcoot' try and it appeared to work, so I will try that myself, as the awning seems to collect water in the rolls when it is stowed. Then I'll add a gutter above the bunks for better rain protection (just incase).

...... I get bored easily so I keep busy. alot of these aren't MODS but just little things me and the wife like.... oh and I fixed the speakers to be STEREO instead of mono. Since the factory wired up A left to the right speaker and B left to the left. Oh yeah and added a new outlet just under the tv / radio cabinet in the wall to allow entertainment items to be plugged in there. Oh and added the pink foam under the beds to level them. 1.5" in the back and .75 in the front ... I think.

Sorry that was all random but I am typing this all on my phone and didn't have time to organize my thoughts.
