Locate Water Pump for Roo 24WS

I need to winterize my Rockwood Roo 24WS, and I need to locate the water pump to remove and drain the filter. Does anyone know where it's located on that model?

The easiest way to find it is turn it on and follow the noise. I have read threads where the WP is under the fridge, stove, vanity, bed, kitchen sink, a bench, or a storage compartment accessible from the outside. You most likely will find it behind a removable panel held in place by two or more screws. It will not hurt the pump if you open a faucet or let it run without water until you find it.

If you are winterizing using antifreeze thru the antifreeze suction port of the pump there is no need to remove the pump filter and drain it.

It’s in the front compartment under the front bunk in the drivers side of the unit behind the water heater. You’ll have to open the cabinet doors and remove the two screws holding in the panel on the left side.

You definitely want to remove the filter before adding anti-freeze.
the 'door' on our had 3 hinges, you removed the single to open the panel. I left that off and added a magnet catch from depot or the like.

Putting an empty water bottle upside down in the filter canister will reduce the amount of AF needed to winterize.

The filter SeaDog is talking about is the screen filter on the suction side of the water pump. If you don't run AF through it and leave water in it they will easily crack.
