Lubing The Winegard Sensar III Antenna

So far, I can lube the elevating gear and bearing surfaces by spraying the base of the antenna and removing the plug at the base and squirting in silicone spray. Where I am stumped is lubricating the "rubber quad ring" that is associated with the worm gear. I guess one does not want the rubber quad ring to dry out. How do I get at this puppy?

The lubing so far has resulted in a much smoother antenna operation.

I suspect many people, me included, have not done much in the care and feeding of the TV antenna. I did, however, buy the Wingman accessory which improved TV reception-worthwhile.

That lubes the elevating gear. And it also does the rubber quad ring too?

Thank you. I will have to go on my roof and give it some silicon lube.

I know what you mean, each time I've done it, it's been by myself. Up and down, up and down.
Lol

The video is spot on what has to be done. At a dealer, they would probably charge you $50-$100+ to do this job

I never saw him put the little rubber plug back in. I hope he did!
