Need some opinions on what price to sell our 2016 Rockwood Roo 23ikss

My husband and I are thinking of selling our 2016 Rockwood Roo 23ikss. I was wondering if anyone would let me know what the going price would be for a used 2016. Our kids don't want to camp anymore and I would really like a bed we don't need to crawl over each other on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hard to say, but a quick look on rv trader has one for $18K and others a bit higher in that ballpark though.

You can start here:
http://www.nadaguides.com/RVs

It starts with the rough price for a base model, then allows you to add any options you may have. Factor in the condition of the unit and you should get a very good idea.

Since you haven't had it very long, you'll probably take a bit of a loss, but that should be expected.

Be careful figuring NADA values.

You only add value for true options or add-ons.
Things like ovens, stereos, awnings and so on, are actually forced "options".
You can't get them without these things.

But you can add value for true options, like a power tongue jack or a 15k a/c or a slide topper.

NADA low retail is 16,600. I would expect somewhere around there.

Kind of off topic, but I tried to find the value of our 2015 Salem Hemi 336rlt and it isn't even listed in the Nada or Kelly guides. I am almost positive I am the only one on here with that model. There are still a few out on the web to buy. My dealer sold 3 or 4 of them that year and he only sells about 30 campers a year.

This is so true! When we were looking for our 21ss I found so many that had used the NADA incorrectly...including the dealer I purchased from! Craigslist will also give you some "comps" you can use to set your price. One thing I've found about asking on forums is geographical area doesn't always get included. Example: on the west coast used units generally fetch a greater price than those east of here...hence people driving to buy thier dream TT. Good Luck.

We purchased a used 2016 23ikss from holiday world Las cruses new Mexico. We paid $19k for it plus TTL. I live in Houston and that same camper would have cost me new $25k.

With that siad.. I would look on the cost of the camper in your area, in Texas we can camp almost all year round if you can deal with the heat. If your camper is in good condition, I would expect you could sell it for 18-19k

Look at rvtrader.com for similar units (and similar years). Then look at narratives and craigslist. Average them all out.

Don't be afraid to start high. Like the housing market, the TT market...new and used is pretty hot this year. We sold our 2007 Jayco JayFeather 29YBH this April and I was able to get $10,000 for it. We had it listed for $11,000 just to see what if any offers we'd get. Only took 7 days...with a sign out front by street and no craiglist or any other listings.

Thanks for all the info. In Florida campers seem to be much higher then other states. At least the dealers.

Come out to the West Coast and you see prices much higher than Florida.

Sold my 2015 23ikss for $17,000, you might get somewhere around $15-$18K if it is clean and loaded. Mine had everything factory offered old layout and all options except 15K AC and SS Appliances but more and more ppl opt for 2015 layout over new? According to what I was told
