Cool New 2017 RooDK owner

Hello from cold northern Michigan. Here's to hoping it warms up soon.
My wife and I just recently purchased a Roo. This is a major upgrade to us from our pop-up that was on its last leg. We are heading out for a week this Memorial Day weekend with our 3 kids to break things in. Never had all the bells and whistles and this thing has it all. Anything major I should know about? A little nervous about using all the features as really all we have ever done is State Park camp with only electric. This is a great site, I've come here often over the past few weeks to just try and read and learn. Happy Camping everyone!

Welcome aboard.... If you have any specific questions about your DK feel free to message me.. Been in the same position as you, upgrading from a worn out Pop up to a DK and would be happy to help.

Best of luck and you're gonna love it !!

Enjoy your new Roo! Can't offer you much advice as we just picked ours up a couple of weeks ago and haven't ventured out yet. Will be going out this weekend for the first trip. Also transitioning from years of pop up camping.

Have fun! Happy Camping.

Go ahead & use all of those bells & whistles if the conditions are right. Want to make sure that they work when you need or want them. Fire up the oven & burn off the manufacturing oil. That should test you smoke alarms. If it's a new rig then you want to test things out so that any fixes can be done while under warranty. Enjoy the Roo. We love ours.
