New Adventure

Hello everyone,

In about 2 weeks I we are selling our house and gonna travel and live out of our 233s. We are a family of five with teenagers and 1 pug. We are planing to travel for the next 5- 6 months and then buy a new home. We are very excited and worried for the unexpected.

Does anyone who has lived out of their camper and have some good tips for us?

Having owned a Roo 23SS for 10 years, I would never live in it for that long, especially if I was moving a lot
Definitely need a set of Popup Gizmos and Reflectix.
You won't find many that have lived out of a hybrid.

I sure hope you and your kids get along well with each other, particularly for prolonged periods in closed spaces. In a rig like that, I see a major drawback in terms of no chance of individual solitude or personal privacy (can I say marital intimacy without getting censored?)

On the other hand, depending on what part of the country you are in, the weather should allow outdoor activity to at least burn off some of that teenage energy.

You've got lots of room in that rig and you'll have lots of adventures ahead. My advice would be to pack only essentials because you'll quickly overload that rig with a family of five's possessions (and a small dog)

You need to pack your sense of humor and don't worry about the unexpected, Stuff is going to happen even if you're completely prepared. Just have fun having experiences with your family. Safe travels.

enjoy everday! Sounds like it will be a great adventure this summer. check back and let us know how it went. the most we've ever camped at the same time in ours is 3 weeks and 2 different campgrounds.

Schedule rest days.
Schedule time apart.
If you really are going in a hybrid, go where the weather is good.
They tend to be too hot and too cold.
