Are you plugged in to a 30 amp shore power source? (or reduced to 15 amp using an adapter)
The outlets do not work off of battery alone but all the other things that you say are working do work off battery.

Yes. 120V outlets only run off shore power, generator or an inverter.

WOW!

Another example of a Bad PDI. 😨

That's something extremely basic that the dealer should go over with the customer, ESPECIALLY if they're totally new to RV ownership.

As crunchman stated, outlets do not work on 12v battery power.
You have to have 120v shore power or generator or an inverter connected to the outlets.

No hybrid comes with a factory inverter setup, only some Motorhomes and a few 5th wheels.

Recommend that you Google "the 12 Voltage Side of Life"
It's a easily understood primer on RV electrical systems and how the two sides work.

You need one of these to plug in at home. You can run everything but might trip the breaker if you run the AC unit.

Working!!! Thanks. That was easy. You are absolutely right about the PDI. They said "it will take about an hour". I made him take 3 hours. LOL.

Rookie mistake, I should know, I did the exact same thing back in April when I brought home my 2018 Catalina... I called the dealer in a panic....

Not always the case, I did the exact same thing back in April, I called the dealer in a panic and he explained it. I video taped my PDI, and when I watched it I noticed my salesman in fact explained it to me, I assume I was a bit overwhelmed, especially facing a 500 mile trip back home, I must have totally forgotten...

The OP owns a hybrid and posted this in the Hybrid section of the Forum.

Hybrids have no stairwell.

I seem to have to explain the "outlets don't work unless the generator is running" thing every trip to my family. I did get dead outlets even then once when somebody pushed the "trip" button on the GFIC outlet down by the door. It seems like all of them besides the bathroom are connected through that one outlet and tripping that one trips them all.

The next thing you will find out while plugged in at home on a regular 20 amp outlet with an adaptor you will trip that breaker if you try and run too much at once. Like A/C, battery charger, with fridge and water heater on electric instead of gas.
