No more Roo...Thank you!

It was a sad day to see my Roo drive off with another family...soooooo I wanted to say thank you to all who contribute to this forum! It has been invaluable over the last three years during our adventures with our Roo, I don't know how many times I said to my wife "I should ask on the forum". It got to the point where she would tell me..."go check the forum"!

We start our new adventures tomorrow with a 2509s Mini-Lite! We will still be on the forums...but just in a different section. I will probably toll this board from time 2 time!

Cheers!

We're hoping for the same experience as our beloved Roo of 10 years, is for sale.
We too are moving to the Dark Side, into a Prime Time Tracer 255AIR.
Hoping to sell the Roo before we pick up the new TT.

You're not alone. I think it's called "evolution."
Tent, pop-up, hybrid, travel trailer, 5th wheel.
Some of us skip some, some of us have stunted growth and don't move on. There are even a few born fully formed (go right to 5vers!)

I'm personally hoping I'm stunted at travel trailers - LOL

EDIT: Forgot - Maybe I should have added Motor Homes to the end of the evolutionary scale??

Are you buying from Jerry's in Madison or Roskopf's in Richfield?
I've bought all 3 of mine from Roskopf's. I recommend them.

MHs do not belong at the end. Tried a DP and find the 5er to be at the end. Best of all ways to camp.

Congrats on moving up and more room and shorter set up times.

Been all the way up the latter now going down. We found the 5er was great but as we get older stairs get harder o climb so no we on our 2nd tt and love it. Later RJD

I loved my ROO 21SS for five years. I always promoted it as a PUP on steroids.

Funny how most dealers tell me they don't want them that they are a niche product yet besides mine I see a bunch at every campground I go to

Mini Lite

Enjoy your new TT. We've had ours for 2 years and have put close to 20K miles on it and can't say enough good stuff about it. Ours has been great.

Chicago RV Show

We spent 6+ hours at the Chicago RV Show yesterday on our quest to find a "couples" trailer, to replace our beloved Roo 23SS. Other the the Cedar Creek 5th wheels, there was nothing else we loved and I'm not sure I want a huge 5th wheel.

We all must travel the same road, 2 pop-ups, 1 hybrid, 1 no-slide, 1 1 slide/bunks over dinette, 1 1 slide 26ft, 1 2 slides 36ft ceiling too low, 1 5r bunks 1 slide 2.5yr falling apart, finally 5r with 3 slides, no bunks, fire place, outside entertainment center, one button leveling and island farmers sink - she's happy/so am I. Kids and grand kids have tents! Took too long to know why 5rs are popular.
