No more wobbly, heavy, impossible table!!!
Took the damn thing out and replaced it with a 4 foot plastic folding table. I had the HARDEST time getting the table up/down... and we don't need to convert it to a bed so.... BUH BYE!

That's what we have and can't stand it. Huge pain to raise.

The one in Rockfordroo's picture is what we have. When our boys camp with us they sleep on the folded down U-dinette. Ours isn't difficult to put down and up (we've had lots of practice), but I agree it's wobbly, especially with it sitting on carpet.

rockfordroo's picture is what we have. Much easier to use then the one we had in our previous popup camper.

No more wobbly, heavy, impossible table!!!
I thought I was the only one having a miserable time with this contraption. I can't stand it. I will be looking for a pair of folding table legs to replace it with. I like to keep the top cause it's steady as a bed, but the legs have to go. My own legs are back and blue from folding and unfolding every time.

our table legs are the ones shown in post #4, ... I admit the very first time trying to figure out just how it unlocks and folds up took a little time to study it, .... but after understanding that, it's a good sturdy design, ... all the joints, hinges, and the spring work smooth and just as designed, ... quick and easy to transform from table to bed, ... we like it .....

Ours in our 183 suck. We have the same design as the one from rockfordroo. PITA to get up and down but what's worse is the fact it's so tippy and you can't stretch out your legs either. Crap design. Switching out to a 2 pedestal design. Hopefully that works better

Just got back and much preferred the 4 foot plastic table, but agree that if we ever need the dinette as a bed, we'll have an issue. Time will tell.
