No power to my lights and fridge

I have a 2007 233SS that I just got back from the dealer, it needed a new awning and the slide needed to be adjusted. When I got it home and plugged it in, only the microwave came on. I had to put the battery in for the lights and refrigerator to work. (had the battery out because it was at the dealer for three weeks. ) I hope that there is a easy answer for this and that I do not need a new convertor. Waiting to see if the fridge and lights drains my battery or it charges off the house electric still. Is there anything else that I can check with out having to by a new converter?

If you are plugged in you should not have to put the battery in for the lights and refrigerator to work. Reset all circuit breakers and check all fuses. Check to see if 120v receptacles and 12v lights work. Check for power where you are plugged into. Only after that you can start to worry about the converter.

I did check the fuses and they look good I show that there is power coming into the camper using an ac power meter.

tmiller, do you have a 23SS or a 233S? there's no 233SS.

as for your lights, it sounds like you may have crossed the wires putting the battery in, resulting in the resettable fuse/breaker going.
check the wiring, along the tongue, just back from the battery, for a little fuse block. should have a button on it.

pretty common mistake, there's lots of similar posts that owners did the same thing.

Sorry 23SS. I will check that in the morning. The battery is powering my camper now. Just can not get the ac power to run the dc lights. The ac current is not charging the battery as well.

how do you know the battery is powering the trailer if you have it plugged into shore power?

what does the battery run, when you aren't plugged into shore power?

When I take the neutral wire off the battery all the lights and fans go out and the microwave stays on.

I would double check your voltage and make sure you have no 12 volt output with a volt ohm meter .

here is trouble shooting info for an 8900 series wfco .http://www.wfcoelectronics.com/docum...%20English.pdf

check the model number then go to You are today’s WINNER! and go under manual for your convertor model and look up testing .

when my wfco convertor went bad i replace just the convertor portion and reused the wfco frame and circuits . I bought a 75 amp convertor from intelli power and installed it in the wfco frame.
I did have to do some mods to get it to fit but was very minor.
I also got the charger wizard for it .
