Outside winter storage.

When you park your TT or HTT outside for the cold winter ahead (we live in Maine), do you bring down the stabilizers (I'm not saying lifting the camper).......I was thinking by doing so, you would put less weight on the power jack and the tires.
What do most people do ?

Thanks

Don't know about most people but I have never put the stabilizers down in the winter unless camping.

Mine stay up. Just block the tires. I leave the trailer front down a bit so the snow melt runs off the roof. It is not covered and I live in WI.

Leave them up. Four less ladders for little critters to use.

Ive always put mine down. I think its all personal preference really.

No trailer Ive done it to has ever blown up or exploded because of it

I would saying leaving the front up would be a much better idea based on how the max air roof vents are situated. Let the water run out of them instead of into them.

I also don't want rodents to have easier access to my camper, and each stab down is another path for them to get in.

Jacks up. If for some reason your tires were to lose air you would put a lot of stress on the frame. Since the jacks are really for stabilizing while occupied.
