It's probably keeping the system pressurized. Any check valve leakage allowing water back toward the tank will drop the pressure and the system wants to put it back. There should be a pump rebuild kit, find the model number of your pump and order. Or replace the pump or the head. The rubber valves may fix it and I see them as a kit for less than $20.

The first time mine cycled, I found a leak in a pipe. The second time was leaking back to the tank.

If you are able to hook to city water, if it’s a check water valve, the fresh water tank will leak out the overflow. If it’s not, you’ll find a big leak in your trailer.

For the check valve, I opted to just replace the pump.

I traced the pipes as best as I could. Pulled the drawers also looking for pipes behind them. I finally pulled panels and found the leak.

Could also be under the Rv floor and above the plastic cardboard .

The pipes in the RV are only rated to 100 psi. I always use a pressure regulator for the city water when I found my house water pressure in excess of 100.

One user, NJKris, reported that his unit has the ShowerMi$er feature. If it is not COMPLETELY turned off, it will cycle water from the pump, through the valve, and back to the fresh water tank. There will be no evidence of a leak. The good news is that the fix takes just a few seconds to fully close the valve.

Does your RV have a ShowerMi$er?

Pretty sure that Shower Misers were not installed on a 2015 Roo/Shamrock 23SS.

Check the backflow check in the outside hose connection. Sometimes a piece of trash or sand causes the backcheck to not seat properly. This can cause a loss of system pressure and a resulting pump "on" to re-establish operating pressure.
