Poor fitting Gekko covers for 2022 Roo 235S
I have the recommended small (for back bed) and medium (for front bed) Gekko covers for my 2022 235S Roo and they simply don't fit well. I contacted the fine folks at Gekko and they acknowledged the issue and said that they are redesigning the covers for the 2022 235S (and perhaps other models). They asked for proof of purchase and then kindly offered to send the newly redesigned ones at no charge when they are ready (estimated to be March 2023). They also said to keep using the ones I have as best I can and then sell them when the new ones are ready. No return necessary! Great customer service!
Passing this along in case anyone else has the same issue. Google Gekko to reach customer service.

Strange - I didn't know there was a difference in bed ends for the 2022 vs previous years.
And it's a shame, I like their product (def a step up from PUGs). To what does gekko attribute the fit problems?

They didn’t say. They just acknowledged that they don’t fit well and are redesigning them. My large size falls all over the front bed. The back bed ( small size) fits a bit better but they said they are redesigning both.

Thanks, friend - keep us informed! This looks like a nice cold weather enhancement for winteRooing!

They claim it has reversible sides for the seasons. Black side for winter and silver reflective side for summer.

I think it's the tend end differences between the front and back, not the actual bed size. Because of the front end back tilt, the tent end is longer than the rear tent.

maybe part of it, Dan.
Looks like they have a generic product in different sizes, and encourage owners to go from there.

The front and rear mattress are the same size but the front and rear exterior bed (canvas) dimensions are slightly different measurements. Thus the recommended “small” size for the back and the “medium” size for the front. Matters not now since the are redesigning th. Rumor has it that with the redesign that they improved the way the cover attaches to the Roo too.

We have a 2022 Shamrock 19 and I ordered a Gekko for the front bed. It doesn't fit very well but it does cover everything. We used it for the month of July down I'm Florida and things were fine. I hear the black side absorbs water though we used the silver side and it was fine.

Update: I just pinged Gekko to see if the redesigned covers are ready yet. They have been silent. Earlier Gekko customer service had estimated a Feb / March 2023 ready date. I'll update with their response.
