Roo 19 dinette table

So it's well established that the 'swing up' table is a PITA for many... ours is so difficult and very wobbly once up. I want to just buy a 4' plastic table and replace it. Other than the obvious not being able to use it as a bed (which is fine for us 98% of the time), what are the other pros/cons?? Anyone swapped theirs??

I agree the folding table stand is junk. Also I don't care for the emergency window in a trailer with three other ways out so here's my fix. Made a custom bracket to bridge the window, installed a wall mount table support and folding leg. Now we have leg room.

We did not need the sleeping area so we got the tables/chair option. We are all tall so we really love the extra room. We find there's plenty of other storage in our 23IKSS, so we don't miss the seat storage.Click image for larger version

In the 19 the furnace is under one seat and the water heater is under the other... [emoji23] I won't be removing them any time soon!

I made supports that I fastened to the wall under the window that greatly reduced the wobble. There are photos on my profile page. After a bumpy and curvy ride to a camp ground recently we found the table had folded to the lowered position, not sure why.
