ROO 233S ordered

We ordered a ROO 233S at the RV show 2 weeks ago here in Ottawa. We were told 8 weeks for delivery. Just in time for first camping trip of the year, May 17 weekend. The Rockwood rep was there and told us we should have the new bunk locking system on it. Just bought a new Dodge RAM 1500 for tow vehicle. Can't wait to try the new setup. We have to sale our Coleman tent trailer first.

Congrats on your new Roo 233S and new Dodge Ram 1500. Nothing like starting the season with a new camper and tv!

Congratulations! We've had our Roo 23ss for a couple of months now, and agree with the old saying....I'd rather be camping!

Could you tell me more about the new locking doors? How are the locks different? Are the doors designed differently to further prevent leaking or just a redesigned lock (I have no evidence of leaking btw)?

We did not see it but we were told the handle is lower so it can be reached much easier and it has a bar that locks 2 latches, one high and one low.

Interesting, we have the roo 233s and from those pics it looks like you can secure & unsecured from the ground. I have to carry a small step to unlatch my beds. Let me know how this work for you guys. Also with the new latch system is it still lockable.

As I see it, there's a latch at the top and a rod down to a handle at the bottom. I can't see any bottom latch in the pic. At least you don't need to climb up to unlatch. (But others have said you'll stilll have to climb up if you have PUGS.)

I can't wait to get it. Even if we had it now, way too much snow to be camping. We should get another foot of snow this week. At least we're used to it.

How long is the power cord that comes with the ROO? I'll have to buy some 30 amp extensions. I've had to use close to 100 feet with our tent trailer at times.
