ROO 233s outdoor side table that is more useful

More about this in my ALBUMS...but this just makes more sense to me??

It's out of the rain.

The MDF will eventually swell...but this is just a test...
If it proves useful in a year...I'll consider something more durable.

Good for:
- a bar
- utensils
- paper towels
- serving food
- etc?

Nice work. I always thought the standard outside table was whimpy and could be deigned better to give you more shelf space and functionality.

Very nice! Only change I would make would be to radius the corners. I like the folding legs for braces.

I would radius them too if I went to my own, laminated, plywood version....

This $9.00 shelf will have to do this summer...

I think there should be a cutout for a basin, and a smallish faucet, with a quick disconnect through that wall of the camper to the kitchen..

I constantly need running water in that area for cooking, drinking, wet bar purposes.

Next season...

Somewhere on here I posted the table that we made out of our unused RVQ rack and a polypropylene cutting board that was just the right size and impervious to water. (Our folding side table that goes on the same rail that was included with the Roo is black plastic, not pressboard, which gave us the idea)

Something like this might work for you. The website has them in several dimensions, I just chose one as an example:

Great idea and very functional. Nice work!! I would however be careful about what I put in the basket in front of the furnace exhaust.

My previous TT had these little pod things on the outside that were part of Thule's camping equipment they used to sell. The pods were covers on brackets that have fantastic removable all weather tables that can be attached to them. In fact, when my last TT was totaled by my insurance company and we were emptying it out (ok, we stripped it, too), my friend went around the outside of the TT and took off the Thule brackets and then installed them on my new TT. I cannot imagine life without my Thule tables on my TT. There are 2 of them and they are both under the awning and boy do they come in handy! Great mod!!
